RedTube - The Voyeur Fantasy
I have some mixed feelings about this fantasy and the porn that represents it. My last post got me thinking more about the common voyeur fantasy and it’s not hard to see how many people have it by going to any public gathering pretty much anywhere. I have a nude beach to which I go occasionally and you will often see people lurking in the trees hoping to catch a couple letting their passions overtake them.
A friend was telling me about an adult theater near him and how it’s often a large group of men standing around chatting about sports until a couple shows up and then the place becomes silent as all hopeful eyes follow them as they walk.
I have not had the pleasure to be invited to a classy gathering of couples yet, but as I am re-watching Eyes Wide Shut (still don’t get it), it may be best that I stay away.
My mixed feelings come when I research the topic and find videos of people peering through windows or footage of women being unknowingly filmed. Many of the couples clips that I found were clearly faked where a person may typing away at a computer and a co-worker seduces them. My real struggle comes with the fact that the voyeur fantasy is one of my favorites (if not my very favorite) but I have difficulty labeling it as classy if the person is unaware that he/she is being filmed.
