MetArt and the Death of the Gentleman's Magazine

I honestly can’t keep track of whether or not Playboy has nudes any more. I know that the experts were talking about how they couldn’t keep up with the content on the Internet which, pretty much everyone could have seen that coming.

Even back when we were all on dial-up, there really wasn’t any reason to go to a store and embarrass ourselves by buying those magazines in the black plastic. Also, why should I only have five or six photos of a beautiful woman before I flip the page and see an article detailing Nixon’s thought process when it came to China relations.

Websites started appearing that offered a far better bargain than the print or digital versions of these magazines. I suppose that they had to pay for the mansions and parties and Pulitzer-quality journalists. They failed to realize that there are beautiful women and talented photographers all around the world. A little bit of good lighting, stunning locations and, most importantly, a perfect 10 model, and you can become a competitor with the old timey print juggernauts.
